This project is a remodel of an early 90's PNW Craftsman style home on a secluded lot with views of Lake Washington. We were called on to reimagine the main living spaces for an active family of six. The clients were looking to create a more usable kitchen and functional mudroom. With the addition of only around 25 square feet, we gained more functional spaces, additional daylight and a better connection to the adjacent deck. With the integration of warm tones and natural wood finishes, the remodeled spaces feel classic and comfortable.

Our client loves to cook. The design of a functional and hardworking kitchen was an essential layer of the project.
The kitchen, dining and family room were previously one amorphous space. Filling in the dining room exterior corner was essential in creating a space that feels cohesive and fits both the kitchen and dining room needs.
Closed storage in the mudroom is essential to give the sports gear and backpacks a home tucked out of the way.
